All is Well
Things seem to be looking up. Tonight was the Nanny's first night at the house alone with Ty. Based on Ty's face when I got home, everything went well. I put Ty to bed with a smile on his face and after a long day at the office, I couldn't ask for me. I told her that I want to put Ty to bed and give him his asthma treatment. It's important to me that I get some time with him before I put him to bed. I think the major difference that she makes is that I get to come home to a calm home with a happy child and it improves the mood within the house. I'm able to come home and Ty is already fed and bathed. The time I get with him is stress-less and just enjoyable. Its a reduction in the stress and frustration in the house, which makes the biggest difference in the world.
It's amazing. Being home and happy makes me want to get back into working out. I put it on hold for a while when I changed my diet. But I would love to get back into it. So I'm thinking of doing some Yoga tonight and weight training in the morning. I think this arrangement will allow me to take better care of myself and that is priceless. Things are good and I couldn't ask for more. The plans for India (the trip to Israel was cut out due to the high cost) are coming together and I'll be applying for my passport this week. All is well in the world. I thank God for peace.
